Reading list

The most useful company for an interesting result is often another paper asking a less convenient question.

Desire trials

The RECONNECT trials and their open-label extension supply the central clinical results discussed here. The critical regulatory review belongs beside them, in my opinion, followed by the brain-imaging study. The disagreement over enjoyable experience gives the desire scores a more demanding context.

The pharmacotherapy review distinguishes premenopausal and postmenopausal care. The 2019 first-approval account and prescribing information supply the historical indication and the cardiovascular cautions discussed in the desire chapter.

Appetite and bone

The kisspeptin food-intake experiment and the bremelanotide metabolic experiments make an interesting pair, provided their separate designs remain visible. The mouse receptor-knockout study supplies a different kind of metabolic question.

For bone, begin with the acute marker study in healthy men, then turn to the mouse osteoclast experiment. The move from healthy men to mice is the reason to read both closely.

Discovery and changing responsiveness

The melanoma discovery paper and GPR54 genetics paper give kisspeptin its unexpected opening chapters. The repeated-exposure experiment, LH-pulse experiment and receptor pharmacology review address the changing hormone response.

The anxiety crossover study and systematic review of clinical status round out the discussion.
